MPJ Tribe

tribe (trb)

n.
A group of people sharing an occupation, interest, or habit: a tribe of graduate students…or MPJ fans.

Is this a cult? No. No one’s drinking any Kool-Aid or following a dress code. You are simply the ones who come to the shows, buy the CDs, tell your friends about the music…and sign up on mailing lists! For an artist this is invaluable. YOU make it all happen. For me, I set my goal to make the best music I can and hopefully give people something to connect to and want to share with others. That’s the hope I suppose. Otherwise, I should just sing songs in my bedroom. Without you, the fans, none of this works!

We need you the fans to be involved. If you are interested in being apart of the “MPJ tribe” send an email to: [email protected] and we will get you signed up.

I saw you with Katie Herzig in Salt Lake City and you were amazing. I’m definitely a fan now. Love it!

As promised, I bought your latest CD.  I also bought the latest from the Dirty Projectors.  It was a toss up so I figured I get both.  By the way, I also have written many songs, and many poems and works about loss and grief.  It’s some of my nest work.

Since the day the I first heard you, you have managed to somehow put into words emotions that I cannot even explain to myself. All of your songs are a majestic piece af art. Please dont ever stop making my heart sing. Karen Tiburcio, Dominican Republic.
